Can you believe we are in 2026? Wow. One thing is for sure, time is going to sashay right on whether or not we align with our God-given purposes.
In 2016, my daughter was 10 at that time said, “Mom, we need to move to California.” I staved her off with actual prayer and waited until I got the answer. The answer everywhere was CALIFORNIA. On an 18-wheeler truck, license plates, and eventually even jogging pants at a gas station.
Even as adults, we have to be connected to God’s voice, our spirit and our inner ears. I could have easily sloughed off Carrington’s suggestion because it scared me deeply. But I created an environment and culture of openness and learning between us. And I never treated her voice as if it were insignificant.
SHE knew she needed more as a dancer and I know that I know moving West, with it being so expensive as a single mom was the right move. What is that small voice telling you to do? Have you pondered, prayed and received your answers…..confirmations? What else are you waiting for and why?
